Digital Health Project Officer

Location: Springfield or Toowoomba
Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN is seeking a motivated individual who has a passion for primary health care and digital health to join our team as a Digital Health Project Officer, based in Springfield or Toowoomba.
The Responsibilities
- Help shape and deliver our digital transformation strategy, with a focus on improving digital health use within the community.
- Facilitate and manage strong, productive partnerships with primary care practitioners and organisations. This includes general practitioners, general practice staff, allied health professionals, specialists and pharmacies.
- Monitor, track and report on progress with initiatives to the PHN Executive and government, with timely escalation of issues. This includes record keeping within our customer relationship management system.
- Deliver education and training on digital health systems building workforce capacity, as required.
Selection Criteria
- Working knowledge of primary care sector and digital health; or willingness to learn and rapidly acquire this knowledge.
- Good project planning and project management skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, negotiate and manage complex relationships.
- Great teamwork, including cooperating with others across the organisation.
- Ability to train or instruct others, including those with differing levels of digital literacy.
- Genuine enthusiasm for the use of technology as a key component in health care.
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in health science or a health care discipline.
- Awareness of change management principles and techniques.
- Self-directed learner, with the ability to quickly synthesise information and communicate to the audience.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and systems as they apply to the national and local primary healthcare sector.
- A good understanding of the primary healthcare sector and its role within the Australian health system.
