Are you passionate about using your lived experience to inspire hope and support others on their recovery journey? We’re seeking an enthusiastic Peer Worker to join our Kingaroy team, delivering vital mental health services funded by Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN.

About the Role
As a Peer Worker, you’ll use your personal experience of mental health challenges or caring for someone with mental illness to support clients, foster trust, and inspire hope. Working within a diverse team, you’ll:

Build supportive relationships and address clients’ practical needs.
Link clients to services like housing, physical activities, and care coordination.
Co-facilitate group programs and assist in community events.
Maintain a local services database and provide warm referrals.

About You
You’ll bring:

Lived experience of mental illness or caring for someone with mental illness.
Cert IV in Mental Health or Peer Work (desirable).
Strong interpersonal skills and ethical awareness.
Confidence with digital tools and local service knowledge.
