Regional Lead

As Regional Lead at Kingaroy Medicare Mental Health Centre, you’ll be at the forefront of service delivery, ensuring that people in the South Burnett region have access to high-quality mental health support. You’ll focus on building relationships with key stakeholders, including Darling Downs Health, DDWMPHN, local government, and community organisations, to strengthen mental health services in the region.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll work closely with the Clinical Services Manager to lead a seven-person team, ensuring inclusive, culturally safe, and best-practice mental health care.

A typical day will see you:
• Managing day-to-day site operations to ensure seamless service delivery
• Strengthening partnerships with Darling Downs Health, DDWMPHN, local government, and community organisations
• Coordinating community engagement initiatives to drive service accessibility
• Overseeing funding compliance, reporting, and infrastructure needs
• Driving service innovation, including warm handovers and wellbeing coordination

What You’ll Bring:
We’re looking for an experienced leader who thrives on building relationships and improving community mental health services. You’ll bring:
• Tertiary qualifications in mental health, health service management, or a relevant field
• Experience in mental health service delivery and operations management
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills (government, health, and community)
• Leadership skills to support and develop a high-performing team
• Commitment to culturally safe and inclusive service delivery
To be successful in this role, you’ll be a natural relationship-builder who thrives in a leadership position. You’ll also need:
• Current open Driver's Licence.
• Current Blue Card or the ability to obtain one
• Current Police Check or ability to obtain one
