Let’s TALK ABOUT Disability and Neurodiversity

July 30, 2024

Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN has launched the latest TALK ABOUT topic, again asking our region to share their experiences with healthcare in their communities.

Until 11 September 2024, we want to TALK ABOUT what you think is working well and what you think could be done better in primary care as someone living with disability or neurodiversity.

The community can provide feedback on their experience, including barriers to accessing care, by visiting www.ddwmphn.com.au/talk-about.

Through this survey, the PHN seeks to better understand the health care experiences of people living with disability and/or neurodiversity, as well as carers and health professionals.

This TALK ABOUT topic will support the PHN’s understanding of service gaps, affordability, and accessibility from a community perspective.

Feedback received through the TALK ABOUT campaign will be used to inform the PHN’s Health Needs Assessment (HNA). The HNA identifies and informs priorities and opportunities for the region by bringing together information from the community, health services and workforce.

The short confidential online survey is currently open and will close at midnight on Wednesday, 11 September 2024. To complete the survey, visit www.ddwmphn.com.au/talk-about.
