National Lung Cancer Screening Program Health Workforce Education Webinar

In Australia, lung cancer is the fifth most common cancer diagnosed and the leading cause of cancer death. Up to 70% of lung cancers can be detected at early stages through screening. Prepare for the National Lung Cancer Screening Program commencing from July 2025.

Led by the Australian Government, in partnership with the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, this program is designed to be equity-focused, culturally safe, and person-centered.

Healthcare professionals play a central and critical role in the National Lung Cancer Screening Program by increasing understanding of, and participation in, the program.

To help you prepare, the Australian Government and Lung Foundation Australia are hosting a free, CPD accredited webinar (RACGP & ACRRM) featuring an expert panel on how to integrate lung cancer screening into your daily practice.

Join to learn about the program’s objectives, your role in supporting patient participation, and practical strategies to implement the program in your practice or health service.
